Open GL is pretty well overclocked in 2019.1 - 12 fps on scene with a dinosaur against 8 fps in 2019.0.3 and 2018.07.

Links to this thread. They missed the time limited (Aug 15) upgrade special of 395$ from any older version (assuming Amiga versions before 1995 are excluded, would be a world record update though, 25 year update steps are unique).

For some reason Layout 2019.0.2 has been crashing like crazy for me this week. So I thought it was time to update to 2019.0.3. I was happily surprised when I saw 2019.1 waiting for me!

Concerning the cel-shading washing out the colors. I received information in response to my bug report that the new cel shader is working as intended. After some experimentation I discovered that I need to be careful with my roughness setting. If it is too high the spec washes out everything. It works very differently than the prior version.

So far so good. A lot of my reports got fixed! Great job! One that didn't is the Chamfer Tool. - If you select a point from one layer with other layers also selected - chamfer will chamfer the point but will also chamfer the additional layers where nothing is selected. -

    Tim,
Would you mind posting your list if you have it handy? If not just the highlights you've seen.

LB-5650 geometry is hidden behind the grid or the origin
LWB-4783 OpenGL in Modeler, background wires interfering with foreground.
LWB-5091 Background layer is hiding foreground mesh

The three above are I believe the same issue. The foreground object lines/edges would disappear if moved directly on top of background line/edges. - I was able to test in 2019.1 and it is indeed fixed. I had previously been using 2019.0.2 because this only occurred with 2019.0.3

    LWB-4651 Problem with Wacom tablet
LWB-5163 (Qt-based) Widget sliders don't work with tablet

I think these two above are the same as well. When using a Wacom and LW in tablet mode the mini-sliders would not work if you happened to be using a mouse at the time. - Confirmed fixed.

LWB-4664 Parenting one layer to another in modeler doesn't update in layout

I have not confirmed this yet but will check it out soon.

LWB-5046 Send object to layout when layout is not open only opens layout - the object never went over, Layout just opened.

    Confirmed fixed.

LWB-5266 Layout shortcut keys stopped working because Metamorphic thought it was active when it wasn't, and therefore intercepted the shortcut keys for its own purposes. Fixed the state handling in Metamorphic when switching current selected item.

This was a weird one. The standard shortcut keys - T,Y,H and others didn't work unless you activated the Objects Panel.

    Confirmed fixed.

These were the heavy hitters for me and am glad to see them fixed.

Using Sync from Modeler, still doesn't. I've adopted just doing a manual Replace Object immediately once back in layout.

Good to hear on that 2nd one though.

Start LW with the a parameter like

    --ui_screen_scale_factors=2

(works well on a 4k display for me)
