Splitting the HDMI output for downstream monitors?

Thinking of placing an HDMI splitter onto the HDMI output of our 460 so that we could feed synchronous audio/visual output back to monitors in the studio. The idea is so that we can play back recordings to groups after recording and avoid the loss of lipsync that we currently get when taking the sound and picture out separately via a patch panel. Does anyone see any problems doing this?

If you can get synced AV out of the HDMI to a single display right now, no reason that an HDMI 1x2 splitter to two displays would be any different

    Thanks
