    Baker Street

    Hi,

The start of a project, to practice using Lightwave 3D 2018.

In the colour render, blocked out characters, street lamps, buildings and road with pavement. Then Lighting and Atmospherics.

The characters are loosely rigged using Genoma 2. I used Lino's Genoma 2 Renamer Script,

in order to enable two characters rigged in the same scene.

Included, is a clay render of the scene, for a clearer picture of the blocked out elements.

    Renaissance.

Excuse the pun but there is no 'dog-leg' to Baker Street its plain straight
I like the atmosphere you are developing, are the lamp standards proxy?
They need to be a little more innate Victorian ,like these

    Hi ianr,

Haha, good one I took some liberty there

Everything is blocked out at the moment, something to build upon, so yes, proxy

I think back to the old black and white Sherlock Holmes series when creating this scene. Particularly, The Hound of the Baskervilles,

where the use of fog and lighting helped to create the mood of a scene. Moreover, Lightwave does a good job of creating this aspect for me.

Thank you for the Victorian Lantern reference.
