    HDMI input into TriCaster 460

What's the best way for me to get an HDMI video input into TriCaster 460? An HDMI-SDI converter?

    Thanks,
    Stephen

That's one approach, and would work well. Another option is one of the HDMI Spark units, which would give you other benefits by using IP rather than a single peer-peer connection.

An HDMI > SDI converter can work just fine, between $30 and $100 depending on brand/model. Keep in mind a few things though - the 460 cannot accept 1080p60, and also the HDMI source should be a "standard" video signal meaning for instance not coming from a computer at a non-video size like 1024x768 as there is no equivalent SDI VIDEO format to convert to.

Steve's NDI Spark suggestion has the benefit of increasing your input count beyond the 4 hard-wired SDI inputs.

    Thanks
