    I used to subscribe to Newtekniques way back in the day, Still got scans of the articles I wanted to keep squirreled away on dvd somewhere :-p Good for a giggle looking back on some of it and recalling how it seemed daunting at the time.
    Too old to die young.

    Ah yes. The old, good days. I happened to be working on another little film a DD at the time & would walk by the Wavers working on Titanic. Some scenes took 45 mines to load, so they'd get it started & pop over to the Firehouse for a pint. Less than a week after we wrapped 5th, our entire model shop got converted over to a render farm. They bought 200+ Alphas as I recall.
