I watched it download on the NVIDIA website. I watched it install after it unpacked. I saw the new driver in my control panel when I had to turn off the new windows firewall Explorer 11 installed. But when I got the Tricaster launched I still had the white buttons. I went back to control panel, clicked on device mgr and clicked on the NVIDIA card then driver and discovered that the driver is not installed. The old version remains.

When I tried to use the device manager to update the driver...I selected the folder where I unpacked the new driver but the device manager continues to tell me I have the most up to date driver already installed. But it's the 2013 version.

Device manager's update will not work for the nVidia card. The nVidia 550 driver you need should be this one.

Dave at NewTek has control of my TriCaster as we speak. He tried to update the GTX550Ti driver. It didn't work for him either. Now he's installing the next firmware update version for the Std Edition TC that isn't posted yet. We'll see if that does the trick.

Where did that come from, Kane?

Kane, I gave the new driver number to DAVE. He's downloading the newest firmware right now. We went thru the install of the recommended NVIDIA driver on the NVIDIA site. But when we checked in device mgr, it appeared the old driver was still there.

Hi Kane just found this thread and I am also facing the same problems. I also download followed your instructions with the driver but it has not fixed the problem, Is there an unpublished driver and how can we get it?

    Many thanks

I've just had the same problem on my Mini SD-4. I installed the GTX950Ti driver from Nvidia and it solved the problem
