Adding Shadows

I have a Tricaster 860 with Advanced version 1.

Just want to add a shadow to talent chroma keyed over one of our images.
No virtual set being used.

Without a LiveSet (or with one), your options for faking a shadow are limited. I have sometimes played around with an M/E and an offset duplicate of the keyed source, proc-amped to remove color, contrast flattened, brightness knocked way down ... but this has its limits (no realtime blur).

Thanks for that help. I'll try it. With all of the amazing things the Tricaster does, I wish they would add that as an effect.

If you could somehow change the fill on the keyer, then it would be easy.
Harping back to my old days with analog switchers.
