I modelled some spline guides to follow the geometry of the beard and hair, then used thick fibre FX.
Not a fan of posting a render every time I make a minor change.
But here is some more progress, playing with the jeans and added a touch of colour to his face.

Modelling some tire-tread flip-flops,
created the tread shapes in illustrator then brought into modeler via the eps import.
I'm a fan of illustrator for repeating shapes like that.

This is really top notch work. Love the simple subd modeling - I can never get subds to "bend" according to my will :-( not without endless fiddling.
