    NDI Transmit

    Hi,
My main workstation runs windows 7. The newest, coolest features of NDI Tools work on Windows 10.
So, to use my Tricaster 460 AE as a Webcam for Skype and Zoom I need NDI Transmit to make my life and budget easy.
I no longer see it available on the usual suspects. I have the unlicensed version of it that broadcasts with a watermark.

Is there anyway to purchase a license for the version that I have? Any ideas?
    Thanks

NDI Tools 3.8 has NDI Virtual Input which is does the same thing as NDI Transmit. You no longer need to purchase this software.

Do I need Windows 10 or will it work on Windows 7?

NDI Scan Converter is the only part that requires Windows 8 or higher. Everything else in NDI Tools 3.8 will run on Windows 7.

And vMix Desktop capture can fill in for NDI Scan Converter on Windows 7 if you still need a screen capture solution after updating to NDI Tools 3.8.

One last question, do I have to install the new version of scan converter or can I keep the old one?

Installing the new NDI Tools will remove the old one. You might be able to go in a copy out the old NDI Scan Converter software before so you still have a copy to run.

I have an old version of NDI Tools saved for any Windows 7 installs that I have.

The full NDI Tools will remove any other version when you install it. I have a old copy of NDI Tools 3 Portable (which doesn't require installing) and use that with NDI Tools 3.8 when installing on a Windows 7 system.
