    Other primitive types

    HI--

I'm finding the primitive shapes we have from nulls very useful, but wonder if there are other options. I'd like to deform them, add instances, etc.

If we could bend the plane, for example, into a circular shape to make caves or something that would be ideal.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks!

To me that sounds like something to do in Modeler. But I do agree that getting more item types would be nice. It would be nice if you could point to a custom library of shapes that you made yourself.

Thanks. I could, but what I like about the primitives is the resolution for displacement. Much easier to work with than a very high poly model.

The docs suggest there may be a plugin to create others ("Only the simple preset shapes supplied (third parties can write others)") but I can't find any.
