    Thanks,

    I already have functionality in my plugin that copies my own buffers to a LW particle system, and I know how to create a node input/output. But where can I find the SDK docs for that?

    We will get those added to the docs.
    The nodes use a custom ID for vendorID and typeID.
    LWID particleSystemID = LWID_('P', 'S', 'Y', 'S');
    outputfuncs->createCustom(nodeid, NOT_CUSTOM, "Particle System", vendorID, particleSystemID);
    linputfuncs->createCustom(node, NOT_CUSTOM, "Particle System", NodeInputEventF, vendorID, particleSystemID);

    The other LWIDs.

    LWID vendorID = LWID_(' ', 'V', 'D', 'B');
    LWID typeID = LWID_('X', 'K', 'C', 'D');
    LWID gridID = LWID_('G', 'R', 'I', 'D');
    LWID vectorgridID = LWID_('V', 'G', 'I', 'D');

    For the renderer itself the concentration was on stability.

    Kind of sad day for me. I'm on a fixed income and a hobbyist and can't afford (justify) the $395 now, so then is 2020 comes out next year it would likely be $995. An then I get the Allegorithmic is now Adobe email......

    Just to be sure, is this the form throwing the error for you?

    The node editor aa is very welcome! I wasn't expecting to have happy feelings about grid snap, but that's really nice in nodal.

    I was able to test this for myself with the LW2019 trial. Unfortunately, it appears the problem I mentioned still exists in the Metamorphic plugin within LW2019 Mac64. For example, even with Metamorphic prop panel active, pressing "p" causes Layout's Properties panel window to open, instead of switching brush to Push/Pull as expected. While actively sculpting on main viewport, pressing "p" has exact same effect (opens Layout's Property panel).
    From the documentation:

    The Windows version of Metamorphic has the keyboard modifiers/shortcuts and graphics tablet support listed in the documentation. While Metamorphic is open, keyboard events will be captured and checked against the listed shortcuts. This means that typing in other applications might be affected.

    Keyboard shortcuts and graphics tablet support have not been implemented in MacOS.

    Object Properties blinking when you add Metamorphic is expected. Normally, adding a plugin drops it at the end of the list of modifiers, but Metamorphic has to be placed just before Subdivision so the Object Properties panel needs to be refreshed.
