The searchable and navigate-able menus and the ctrl+spacebar command are very well done! Great workflow enhancement (along with Undo of course).

These are the small things that makes working with LW much easier, faster and more enjoyable!

Only checked the vdb tools presentation from oliver, great stuff in there, and a lot of what I have asked for.
Finally we now have a way to turn any mesh shape in to volumetrics, and also nice to see the advection node to distort the volume fully, scattering of particles on this also reminds me of secondary scattering shapes in houdini Cloudfx.

And the gas solver...what? a way of simulating fluid like stuff natively..though different technique and not a true fluid solution that reacts to obstacles, but interesting.

Native sky environment, Great...asked for that for some time.

Nodes..fixed AA, Finally the connections looks smoother and professional.

Have no time to try the new 2019 out for weeks though, the new tools (may) open up for much more designed clouds from my perspective.
Thanks to oliver for presenting it so well.

Can't wait to get it this evening. Lovin' LW and NT and all the devs. Thank you.

Wow! I really did not expect this. I haven’t downloaded yet, but judging from the feature list it really looks like Newtek has underpromised and overdelivered. Nodal editing/mixing of shape primitives was NOT anything I was expecting. Very excited to try this new stuff out!

    Bug report submitted.
Metamorphic in LightWave 2019 is a significantly advanced version, with both enhancements and integration into Layout. And the 2019 upgrade is loaded with a range of other new features many of which would make an incredible value for the price on their own, so we feel the pricing is appropriate.

I'd also be interested in knowing whether the Mac Metamorphic keyboard input bug (where keyboard commands to change brushes, etc. weren't working) has been fixed in LW2019?

Unrelated, but also, were the more serious Bullet problems from LW2018 fixed in LW2019?

Is there any field for good will from NT if my company bought one new full licence of 2018 in last week 14.01.2019?
New licence have option "Buy LightWave 2019 Upgrade Now" the second, older LW 2018 have "Request Upgrade Discount". The difference is?

BTW. Thank you dev team for look in to game development. Modeler still need more focus

    Good work on new tutorials!

The improved marketing (with video tutorials and demos on the first day of release) alone is worth the upgrade.

Chuck does the Unreal interchange work with other products that use Unreal Engine (primarily thinking of Ross Frontier Virtual Set tech)
Unreal Editor 4.19, 4.20 and 4.21 are supported, including derived environments like Unreal Studio.

Sorry Chuck, I hope I didn't spoil the surprise yesterday. I was just excited to see new videos on your Youtube channel. Now I can go watch them.

Congrats on the LW 2019 release
Still going through all the features and I must say that the UE integration looks very good.
Can't wait to take that for a spin and very glad that it works with the Unreal Studio environment Deep Purple
We use Studio here mainly for the CityEngine / datasmith workflow, and it's not that smooth nor ideal in a few respects, so this is very timely and welcome on my end.

Kudos to all involved and thanks to all the LW folks for the tutes !
    That's a tick from me
