However the spline alignment still doesn't work as expected, are you still working on that?

(I removed the plugins and re-added but only tested with an existing scene)
Yes, the second one fixes a few crashes as noted in the change log. Something you don't come across when you test specifically.

The alignment will be worked on further, I know it's not 100% there. However, if you have a case where it's completely off, please send it to me.

    Cheers,
    Mike

That's pure evil, a violation of human rights if you ask me...

Unless you all chip to a pool, I suppose that's bearable.

This month our patrons voted for a Spline Proximity node, which is the first add on for the Spline Toolkit developed in the past two months.
The idea is to develop building blocks that will extend each other, eventually allowing for more complex spline based tools.

I was waiting for somebody to remark that this should be native. I am disappointed.

Haha yes I should have said that. Of course a long way until it gets close to what's possible with Splines in most other software natively but it's a start. Having Splines in the LightWave Nodes has big potential and I'm glad to support this!

Thanks for adding features to this, looking forward to this and more addons like deformation, extrudes and other features in the feature requests.

Hint: Maybe you find a use case where NodeMeister can be used in combination with the db&w Spline nodes to do something crazy... that could motivate me to also get NodeMeister from you...

Are you saying you'd like me to spend less time coding?

    Cheers,

Mark Warner, one of our patrons, just published a video showcasing some really creative use of the Spline Toolkit that's a part of the db&w Tools.

    Those combos rock.

Given the current votes on the poll for the next plugin, it seems like we'll be working on animatable splines for two months.

Thanks Mike for doing such cool tools, and thanks Mark for showing us how to use them.

Always like Mark's videos, they're so succinct and straight to the point, but real-world too... thanks guys!
