Our patrons received the first preview build of our Plugin of the Month for January 2019 - a complete set of logic nodes to switch connections depending on various conditions (such as the type of incoming ray, as shown in this example).

The db&w Tools are already fully compatible with LightWave 3D 2019 as well.

Our patrons have voted again - and just like last time, the winner is: No Vote.

Since this is a crooked system, we'll be working on the Random Image Mapper then.

Random Image Mapper in the wild...

Our patrons have received their final build of the Random Image Mapper - our Plugin of the Month for February 2019 - already.

And it didn't take long until Alf Edvin Torgersen, one of our patrons, produced this stunning render.

Thank you very much to Alf for allowing us to publish it and thank you very much to all patrons for your support.

Our patrons have voted again - probably because we make the mistake of asking them .

    Hi Mike. Loving these plugins

I think I've found a little bug with the Random Image Mapper - if scale is set to 0% then it looks like 100%. 0.001% will make it really small (as you'd expect) so assuming it's a bug.

    Many thanks

I'll take a look and see if I can fix it for the next release. It may just be by design though.

    Cheers,
    Mike

Cheers Mike. Just out of interest, is it possible to give each image an ID so we could scale each by that rather than spot, or is that a daft idea?!

The problem is two-fold: For one, given that there's no real limit for the number of images, you'd need an input each.
Even worse, then somebody comes along and requests the same for, say, the rotation.

However, if you want certain relative sizes, you can look the Pixel Size parameter. That would require changing the size of the used images for specific results though.

    Cheers,
    Mike
