Glycon Mocap with FBX support on the way!

    Hi guys,

If you're looking for a lightning fast way to record human movements for digital animations, Glycon is, hands down, the fastest way to do it. Or hands up.
Just put fire up the app, put your VR rig on, and start recording!

I've finished the first version of the Glycon FBX exporter. The FBX exporter was the only part of this I didn't have an accurate time estimate for, so it was crucial that I add that before adding all the bells and whistles people have asked for. Over the weekend, bells and whistles :-)

Here's a quick video of the FBX exporter in action. If you have any questions, please ask! I'll be sending out the new version tonight to anyone who buys in as an early adopter.

During this early phase, it's $99. Sometime next week, after everyone's initially requests are in, I'm going to bump the price up to a more industry-like number.

    That looks fantastic, Chilton!

I don't currently own VR gear but I guess I need to start looking into it.

In the meantime, I will continue following Glycon development.

Great stuff Chilton, and your man is looking very slick now - I will miss that prototype wooden guy.

    Thanks guys!

Wooden Proto guy will be recycled and probably come back in some shape or form :-)

    Hi Chilton,

Your guy looks fantastic. As for the samples - I've just noticed that Google Drive prevents me from opening or saving any stuff... An error occurs all the time. Could you please share them via Dropbox?

    Thanks,
    Terry

    Absolutely, Terry!

I actually just finished an update to the FBX exporter a few minutes ago, and will be making some newer, better examples tonight. I'll post a link as soon as they're ready!

    Thanks, Chilton!

Will be waiting for an update. Does this work for Unreal, by the way?

    BR,
    Terry
