Can you include a link to the video, I can't find it.

    Exciting update!

Will the Advanced Audio in Premium finally resolve the DDR video latency when we want to control the DDR audio levels from an external audiomixer?

    Yes, great job Kane!

Does 7-0, without PA, come with the additional 2 DDRs and 4 Extra MEs and 4 Outputs?

There is no change in this respect. I think the problem you're referring to ins one encountered in workflows that loop back into the system. DDR audio and video are transmitted from the system in sync. How this could be handled in any other manner is a bit of a head-scratcher.

Neither 7-0 nor Premium Access increases the number or type of Media Players on a given model.

Got it! I was mistaken. He was demoing on a VMC1. Thought it was a TC1. Thanks

No doubt! Would there be any other reason to update to Rev 7 on TC 1 if I am already on 6-0-180913? We are pretty satisfied bug wise.

Ah yes I understand, i've scratched my head many times over this. Always wanted to have the same "video delay" option as all the other inputs have but there is probably a very logical explanation to it.

If your system is quite stable, I'd never recommend installing a brand new update. That said, once it's been kicked around a bit, I'd install it even if for no other reason than the new Notifications panel.

This is actually cooler than it sounds, and I expect we will develop it further to give it more useful functionality. At present, in addition to the standard system messages it presents, notifications appear for newly grabbed images and clips, including media files added across the network. These notifications have a thumbnail image and their context menu lets you select (or multi-select) items and add them to a Media Player.

Any bugs fixed in 7-0? I only see talk about new features.

7-0 has been in development for at least a year. In that time, many of the bugfixes in it have been ported to 6-0, 5-1, etc., as appropriate. But since this is the first release of 7-0, there really aren't any bugs in it to report as fixed, right?

But there are surely bugs in the 6-0 9/13 build, right?

There is discussion in another forum post about 7-0 fixing some recording issues. I have a similar ticket open with support. I also have some other tickets open on other issues. If some of these issues are addressed, I will likely update right away. If not, I might wait awhile or until the PTZ panel gets added back...my operators use that panel for most shows, for recalling PTZ presets and saving them.
