Connect Spark Deployment over WiFi Networks - Ubiquiti Components

    Hi All,

Been getting lots of calls requesting specs for the Ubiquiti components we have field tested to establish excellent WiFi connectivity for camera mounted Connect Sparks. So here goes...

    Ubiquiti Networks website: www.ubnt.com
    PRODUCTS:
    Unifi Switch8 with POE+ https://www.ubnt.com/unifi-switching/unifi-switch-
    Unifi AP-Outdoor 5GHz model https://www.ubnt.com/unifi/unifi-ap-outdoor/
Unifi airMAX AC Sector Directional Antenna – 45 degree model https://www.ubnt.com/airmax/airmax-ac-sector-antenna/

You don't necessarily need to buy the switch or router from Ubiquiti -- but if you do, they all come with a great GUI that also works remotely via a Cloud Key.
    Several routers to choose from.

Watch my video interview at NAB / NewTek Booth that explains how to configure and deploy these components for sport venues. Just remember to place the directional antenna between the spectators/audience and the camera operators to reduce interference.

Please free to call me if you need further assistance or to order SparkMounts.

The entire SparkMount product line can be viewed at http://tacticalfiber.com/products.php?cat=41
Note: Tactical Fiber Systems is a sister company to Mobile Studios – both companies under the same roof.

    Cheers,
    Rich

Is it possible to use Netgear orbi for a similar setup?

Did you try the setup with site-to-site VPN configured in the Unifi also? If not do you foresee any problems?
    thanks

Hi there I bought the Unifi AP Outdoor5 but for days now I can not make this work with Spark HDMI, all connections seems to be fine I can ping Unifi and Sparks but can not connect thru UNIFI to my computer. when I log in to spark I will see the AP Outdoor5 and it will connect but I can not see spark HDMI for example on the "Studio Monitor" and secondly as soon I disconnect and close the browser and log in again I can see that it disconnect, It does not auto connect. all firmware is updated (0943) If I use another Router than it works fine and connect direct and fast, Is there something I am doing wrong or need to configure
