Recalling a COMP via CS results doesn't use keyframes

Set up a comp in one the MEs on a TC1 and it is working nicely when I click between the two comp using the interface with the two screen shots. However, if I use the COMP button on the control surface and then select the comps from the ME key row it does not smoothly animate but rather executes the the changes as if its a macro snapping the size changes etc. Oddly enough if I record a macro when clicking between the comps I get the same exact same snapping behavior when replaying the macro even though it played correct while recording the macro. Anyone else see this behavior and if so is there a trick to getting the animation to work when using the control surface?

    Thanks!

This looks to be fixed in the latest public build released on March 1st 2018
