NDI for iPad IOS Screen Display?

I'm looking for a way to show the screen of an iPad on the TC1. Currently the only method that is viable is Lightning to HDMI & then HDMI to SDI. That is a lot of converting to get the job done.

Is there NDI that works for iPad? I don't mean to make the camera into a video source, but showing the screen. I tried Nyrius HDMI sender and it did horrible(Intermittent send).

Apple's OS restrictions do not allow for third party applications to 'scrape' the screen on the iPad. However, you can make this working using the built in AirPlay Mirroring on the device.

NewTek Connect Pro has this support built in. https://www.newtek.com/connect/connect-pro/

I've also got a workflow using a tool called 'AirServer'. http://kanelp7.wixsite.com/kanesworl...into-tricaster

    Hi Kane,

Thanks for the links. I will try that. Does Newtek Connect Pro install on the TC1 or on a separate computer.

Both of the methods above are going to install on a separate computer. The advantage with Connect Pro is that beyond adding AirPlay support, you can also bring in up to 4 sources total via webcams, IP or using off the shelf video I/O cards (like BMD, AJA, Matrox, Magwell, etc)
