It does! (which I ended up redoing in 2018.0.7). As it turns out there weren't any major major changes from the initial release of 2018, but a few things in its workings, mainly the cache, so what you see in the video set is the most up to date info there is. Also, when you see some of the examples, and watch through the test renders I do in the tuts... you can imagine for yourself how long I spent doing tests ad trials to get the appropriate renders out.

Minor issue. With the Emily scene, it's missing two exr files. The Umbrella_A.exr (which for some reason I had) and the Synthetic_Ring_B.exr. Didn't have that one specifically; have a Synthetic_Ring_A so for now I'm sure that'll do.

I take I missed the early bird deal. Nonetheless, after previewing the YT vids, I shall splurge on these tutorials asap when they are ready.

I did get the Nodal Series at Liberty 3D and found it incredibly thorough and comprehensive. FWIW, Adam Gibson just released a Vol 4 (Surfacing) on LW 2018 and I'm looking forward to reviewing that one too.

Its not that they're only allowed to be used with lightsmith... its that the preset setups only work with lightsmith, they're freely downloadable to all. Also, in the tut itself, when we pick those images, I show the go and download, as I recall when I recorded it, the idea was to let folk try their own light setups, and it was just an example of one option for standard studio setup.

edit; yep, vid 59, 21min(ish) mark

Great to see you back as more than ever, character animation in Lightwave needs your vision. Looking forward to seeing new RebelHill developments.

Fair point w.r.t. the Lightsmith phrasing. I've withdrawn the comment. Still, "freely downloadable to all" still isn't the same as "freely (re)usable by all who download for any purpose", and that was my point.
