Thread: IFW to 2018: how

    Look at Dpont's tools.
Ask him to replicate whatever might be missing from IFW.
What they've done to how you work with them won't be improved; I highly doubt the original author will update it to work anytime in the future.

Forgive me UnCommonGrafx but which one? And why would he do this for me?

Denis (Dpont) ported a lot of renderman shaders to LightWave and keeps them up-to-date so he has experience with this sort of thing.

I can't speak for him but maybe a significant donation might inspire him to accept a request?

(I really don't know about that but I like to send him a donation from time-to-time to let him know his work is appreciated.)

He's the only one doing such work.

Ask him that why. I could only surmise.

Not the same thing, those are the older layer-based IFW textures, what most here are talking about the IFW nodal textures (esp. ones that don't have layered equivalents like the texture splotter, the new wood procedural, and other "most-recent" IFW additions).
