    4) Material changes
    5) Cel shader
    6) Global Illumination changes
    7) etc...

I will consider suggestions for videos, but mostly I will be concentrating on the systems I wrote, which is mostly rendering related.
Awesome! Thanks for all the videos. I'm most interested in Global Illumination changes.

Thanks Antti Tell me, will the renderer honour things such as chromatic abberation if you use a modelled lens in front of the camera? I'm not sure what physicalities of the lens set up produce this (I assume misalignments in the various lenses), but wondering how far the photoreal aspect goes.

Not right now. Chromatic aberration is something camera makers are tryong to avoid, and it is faster to do in post, rather than simulate in the renderer.

If you can also setting for GI ect...with Sun/Sky for archviz would be great...tutorials for interior/exterior?

In any case you are doing a very useful work.

Thanks a lot for doing these videos. I would like to see some more examples of the Layout view in modeler. I was wondering if weight painting would be better when using it, whether it would be more immediate. If that makes sense. I dont have 3rd Powers weight paint for layout you see.

You should get weight paint. it is very very good. its not just good for being in lightwave where it is sorely needed. It is legit good, and would be in any app.

Thanks for these. Good information for judging the new improvements. The more the merrier.

Incredible, the new system of lighting and volumetrics seems more impressive with every new video.

    Congrats to the LW team!

    Thanks Antti, eli kiiitosss. Mahtavaa.

I am very curious to see how the new engine performs with the interiors. Interior rendering is the weak point in Octane Render. Although the upcoming denoising feature in Octane may resolve this, but nevertheless, I am looking forward to see how LW's new engine performs on these.

Kiitos. I will make a video about the current state of global illumination in the future.

Thanks for the videos, very good work in the lighting system!

Is is confirmed that there is no physical sun / sky and no sub poly displacement in 2018?

    Can someone from NT confirm,
If I upgrade one of my old lightwave license to lightwave 2015 now, do I get 2018 when it comes out?

    Why would they do that?
