LukerCTV - are you experiencing this with your TC1s as well or only your Mini?

I have just checked and can confirm that there are currently no open Fogbugz cases involving Dante. If someone has a reproducible issue of any kind, I'd strongly recommend they submit a fully detailed case: https://forums.newtek.com/showthread...Reporting-Bugs

Any update on this? I submitted a very detailed FogBugz report in October, but haven't heard anything. In addition, the case has been removed from my FogBugz profile, so I can't see the status. It was Case #97459

I have the same issue with the tickets leaving my profile. If you reply to the email you got when the ticket was opened they still get that reply so check in that way.

I checked your case (thanks for supplying the number). Sadly, this is a 'good news/bad news' thing. The good news is that your case is marked resolved, and the case notes would seem to substantiate that claim. The bad news is that the current 5-1 release, quite separately from your case - broke Dante completely. If you haven't updated, and you need Dante, don't.

I'll subscribe to the new case and post the news here when it's resolved.

Looking forward to a fix. We deal with this every Tuesday. Our director is vigilantly watching the sync and adjust as needed. He's getting pretty good at it.

This is a bit of shot in the dark, but...

Have you tried changing the audio interface within Dante Virtual Soundcard? When we set DVS interface to WDM on our TC1 random dropouts occur and we need to add around 500ms of delay. When we set the DVS interface to ASIO everything is smooth sailing: clean audio and no need for the extra 500ms of delay.

Is this still broken? If you say it's working on AE3 I might pitch a fit :P

Gonna assume from the lack of response this is still not fixed, or is only working in AE3 (which would be typical)

Rather than rely on NewTek's incredibly bad track record with Dante support, I got one of these (and subsequently lit $30 on fire for the virtual soundcard license from a while ago):

We have never been able to reproduce this problem in-house. We have tried to reproduce with several different Dante devices and have had it running for days at a time and have never seen this. I will add I am personally aware of customers with 128 channels of Dante and over 600 NDI sources on the same network and they never see this. We can't fix what we can't reproduce.

Case was marked resolved, but couldn't be reproduced?

Also the more pressing issue would be Dante not working at all with the current Mini build, that seems easy to reproduce.

Your case is marked "Resolved (Fixed)", as I said. I think Zane may be referring to something other ...

So how do I properly report/track this issue, since my FogBugz ticket was deleted? Why do I have to bump this thread again?

You guys always say to submit a report through FogBugz otherwise you have no idea about bugs or issues, and apparently even submitting one is no guarantee that NewTek is aware or willing to fix problems.

lukerctv, for the fun of it, have you tried a Dante devices other than the MXA array as your input? We've been slowing moving our entire show to IP based stuff, but have held off on implemented Dante on the Tricaster based on following this and other threads.

The MXA array is our first Dante device, we bought it to test integration with our TriCaster systems and eventually get more. For obvious reasons we haven't expanded yet.
