    EEVEE a Bit More In-Depth

This is more of a fast-paced tutorial focus on Blender 2.8 (available now as an early beta, but not expected to be final for several months).

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DR_uRoKuST8

2.8 is full of holes of course, but quite impressive in many ways, IMO. -- The volumetrics are rockin'.

This vid is 1-1/2 months old! YouTube tends to feed you lots more of whatever you just watched (to a fault), so this finally came up for me today.

Keep in mind that eevee isn't meant to replace rendering.. athough it certainly can in some cases. It is meant to be used as a tool to view art as close to game engines (like ue4) as possible. Still think it is funny they named it after a Pokemon character.

The thing is, many people (arch viz specially) are using Unreal to render out videos. So I don't see why EEVEE would be any different once it's freshed out.

Python programming language is named after Monty Python, sometimes picking a name at random is just as good as anything.
