    Surgery...

My wife just had surgery today at Duke Medical center in Durham to remove a sizable brain tumor. It went well, after about 4 hours it was done. She was making jokes with in half an hour, and still believes Star Trek Is better than Star Wars.

Very good to hear she is doing well. These things can be very frightening.

Our biggest worry was the Star Trek/Star Wars thing. She is concerned about the Cylon Boomer type port installed in her wrist.

Wishing your wife a speedy recovery. It must be a huge weight off your mind that the operation went so well. My thoughts are with you both.

Best wishes for a full and speedy recovery. She is very very wrong about Star Trek being better than Star Wars though :-) :-)

Best wishes for a speedy recovery, sorry to hear the doctors couldn't fix the Star Trek issue. Maybe a few weeks on the sofa together with snacks watching all the original Star Wars films.
