Help Connecting LiveText Laptop to tricaster

We run LiveText off of a Windows 10 pc connector to our tricatser via Ethernet. Everything was working fine until now. Could somebody help me walk through how to get these linked together again? When I try to connect in the Tricaster UI I can still see the name of the laptop but it will not connect.

The NewTek website does not have a walk through for windows 10 (that I can find) and I myself am not very familiar with windows.

    Your help is appretiated.

If you're connected directly, you'll need to set static IP addresses for both machines in the same subnet. That should really be the only thing you need to do. If you're using a router, be sure they're getting IP addresses that work.

The other thing is to make sure your LiveText setup is correct for your Tricater with respect to either using NDI or the legacy protocol.

It might help to know the version of TriCaster and LiveText you are running to make sure you have the combination that works together.

Did Windows just do an update?
Maybe try to restore it to a time before it stopped working and see if it's a windows thing.

Issue resolved. Thanks. LiveText PC just needed to get back on the same network. Windows 10 was just giving me trouble. Thanks.
