Wait, what? That's 15k less than an 8000.

    Seems unbelievable.

    This website states:

The TriCaster TC1 in a 2RU chassis is priced at US$14,995. The TriCaster TC1R rack version provides optional redundant power in a 3RU chassis and is priced at US$19,995. The optional TC1LP and TC1SP control panels are priced at US$11,995 and US$6,995 respectively. The NewTek Connect NC1 IN and NC1 I/O modules are priced at US$$5,995 and US$9,995 respectively.

The TC1 Base bundle includes the TC1 2U unit w/4 SDI inputs and the smaller controller for $19,995.
The TC1 Plus bundle at $24,995 includes the TC1R 3 U unit w/ redundant power supplies and 4 inputs.
The TC1 Max bundle includes the TC1R unit, an 8 SDI input, 8 output NC IO module (which gives you 12 total inputs) and the large controller it's $39,995.

A rough equiv of the TC8000 would be a TC1 or TC1R + the 4 input (no extra outputs) NC1 Input Module and the TC1LP (large) controller but I don't have the ala carte prices handy.

I am probably doing ourselves a disservice here, but we really do care about trying to take care of our customers. If you have an existing CS (460CS or better) then it will fully work with the TC1 ...

I should add one thing about TC1 and in particularly about IP in general. This is really entirely modular, if you have the TC1 then as you need you can expand right the way up to 16 full inputs of 4K.

Would be interested in hearing about any possible trade in plan for existing TC owners, (in my case a TC460AE).

Contact your NewTek dealer or rep, there are upgrade paths for all TriCaster systems (all the back to the first TriCaster 100 systems).

It is your commitment to quality customer service, along with outstanding products that keeps all of us loyal customers coming back for more and more.

Quite honestly ... this post made my day. We really do try to be a good company and create technology that changes things for people, and also does not just take what others have done and copy it ... We really try hard to be good to our customers and I know that sometimes we fail. We really do care though.
