    My Brainwash Collection

I've been milking this Brainwash theme for some time now. The client has this big event called, yep Brainwash. So I have to come up with brainwash thingies each month for their online presence and print work. After a while my brain goes num. And I really struggle at times to create something. Some are successful and some are desperate attempts to get something done. Everything is done in Lightwave and later finished in Photoshop. I must add even though i struggle with the theme it's a much needed practise.

While the art is great the ideas are amazing! My biggest struggle is the idea and I am always simply amazed at how people come up with some of this stuff. Great job all the way around!!

Glad you find them inspiring, i never really knew what people thought about those cause most of them where stacked away after they were finished and used by the client.

You got folk throwing you ideas or are you on your own?

Ya, it could be a nifty exercise for awhile, but when does it become Sysiphusian?

Had to look-up Sysiphusian Yeah, this particular client does leave all the ideas and execution to me. Couldn't tell you if it gets 'sysiphusianized' after a while, at least i hope not. Got a late start in 3d, its been practise, practise, practise until my eyes pop out.

These are some great designs! Do you do thumbnail sketches before you start your Lightwave work or do you "design on the fly" in 3D?

Hey Cobalt, cheers to that! I've tried different ways to tackle a design. At times I starts with a horrible sketch in my sketchbook which does't look anything like the end result. Sometimes i just know what elements i need in the scene and start building the objects from reference and place these later on into place. Other times i go lay down in bed and think of the design and plan it in my head and sometimes i have no clue at al what to make next and just start playing around in Modeller just testing tools out. These methods only work though if i have full control of a project. With clients who gives input and suggestions i sketch first and lock down the idea and than start the whole 3d workflow.
