    Modeler search model by name

Is there a way to search for a model in Modeler which is opened in Layout ? The pull down list in Modeler in top right can contain hundreds of models and it is a paint to find the one I want.

    Just a guess,
select the object you want in Layout & click the Modeler button, it should be loaded in modeler ready for you.

Related: to find in Layout, there are filters in the SE and the Item Managers.
They only call it 'class warfare' when we fight back.

    Modeler has command "SETOBJECT".

    Utilities tab, Exe Command,
    and enter
    SETOBJECT "name"
    or
    SETOBJECT "filename"

That would need pattern matching capabilities to be useful to users.
