Will LW Next support Quadro ios app?

Hi guys found another cool app I though you might enjoy.

Unfortunately it doesn't work with current LW ...I'm hoping it will work with the next version. Has the LW3Dgroup team played with Quadro yet?

Also, if you know of any other apps that does the same or better please spill the beans

I have always thought that a customizeable touchpad that shows a different layout for each program that is in focus would be easy to make yet very useful

Well, I have a wireless space mouse, and it works fine with 3D-coat and other apps, but isn't recognised by Lightwave, at least on Mac, and it's a real PITA.

That has to be the most deliberately slow mouse movements I have ever seen. And no key shortcuts used either.

Bah nan, je l'utilise avec 3d-coat, et bientôt, j'espère, avec substance painter, quand ce sera enfin supporté.

I didn't know this app. It's nice with final cut pro.

That 3d mouse looks like a monster..a touch pad/screen is better, since you can control the pc when you're not there...I think.

Ok played around a bit & it seems that Quadro only scans folders one deep, hence it doesn't see layout or modeler(which is inside Applications/Newtek/LightWave3D11.6.2/).

Also controlling the interface feature has not been implemented yet(coming soon)

If I were LW3d Group I'd contact them & see if they could work together...there's lots of potential in this.

Look at that it's finished http://www.frozenpepper.it/ccp/

I'm downloading the lite version to have a play, the interface is a bit old looking but if it does the job, could be great

Tried it a bit & you can't link apps directly, it seems to be sending generic system keyboard shortcuts to whichever application is in front...I'll pass on this one.

    Hahaha.

The youtube comment was spot on.

"Idiotic to do a comparison with the app while the "Smart human" on the right looks like has no ******* idea how to do anything fast. I call this ********."

It's not about shooting the messenger (the video) but about the message (the product)

I've been playing some more with Quadro & it has a ton of potential

Here's the official video from the company :P

More testing & I just worked out that you can set & use numeric shortcuts for your view ports on a laptop (which doesn't have a numeric keyboard)

Laptops that don't have a numeric keyboard usually have numeric keys accessible on the standard keys, when pressing 'Fn'. At least the ones I've seen. Also, the new video is also trying illustrate how key presses are unreasonably difficult. That sort of trash talking don't go well with people. They should show how the tool does something better. Then there is no need to even bring things like that up. The fact that they do just puts flags above it.
