    Audio Gating Issues on 460

Hi, I'm having an audio gating issue that seam to be intermittent. So we updated our 460 to AE2 and ever since, we've had interesting audio gating issues. First off, when you open a new session, audio gating come on as a default, this is bad. Then I noticed that after turning off all gating, the system was still gating audio. Nothing I could do. I tried opening other new sessions- no help. In all of the events we've done, the system was fed by house PA systems but when I checked the feed directly, it was fine, no gating.
Today I set the system up in our lab to troubleshoot this. I plugged a mic in directly and it was fine, no gating. So I thought it had something to do with line VS mic input so I put a mixer in between the input and sent the 460 line level. Still couldn't recreate the issue.
Any ideas? Maybe something to do with the level we were being sent? But gating was turned off.
    Thanks,
    Car

I would make sure you are running the very latest version of Advanced Edition which can be downloaded from new.tk/dl.

Yes, I'll check that. Has it been a known issue?
    Thanks,

We had the same thing happen to us. The gate was turned off and it was still gating. We ended up switching from line level to mic level and pulling gain way down. The signal was still clean and there was no more gating. No idea why it gated when set to line but not when set to MIC.
Not the optimum solution, but it worked in a pinch.
