    Depth

    Hi,

Sorry, maybe it's very easy, but I don't know...
How can I render the only depth channel without render the beauty?I want to render only the depth...

    Thanks
    Nico

I don't know if that's possible, but you can cook your own Depth Pass using the old fog trick:

Mac OSX 10.10.2, 2.8 GHz Intel Core i5, 4 GB RAM

But is it possible at all? Since the Compositing Buffer Export must feed on something the rendering engine produces you must have that step.
But you can dumb your beauty settings. GI off. AA off. Shadows/Refr/Refl etc. off.

doesn't have to be quickshade to redner a depth path you know.

You can turn your AA settings to 1, and turn off radiosity
    and render fast too.

but thanks - thats probably a good idea for speed reasons!!

In #4 video tutorial of Global Materials I showed how to do it
    http://globalmaterials.trueart.eu
(it's even on thumbnail of YouTube video)
It's ultra fast, because it overrides everything..

Yes, EXRTrader is indeed very good.

And db&w is a very nice company / nice people. They even send out Christmas cards personally signed to their customers every year.

If anyone of db&w is reading this, Dagmar Bornemann and Michael Wolf, thank you very much!
