    That's creepy nice.

You know: virtually real but something is off.

Love the eyes. The neck came out quite well, too.

    Great piece of work.

Very nice work! Loads of detail. I could be wrong, but it doesn't look like there is any sub surface scattering going on, or settings are not quite right if there is. It might take a leap toward even more realism, if you can get the SSS translucency effect dialed in. One other minor nit pick, the light hitting Theodore does not seem to match the background lighting/exposure, which I'm guessing is a photo. That's my 2 cents, hope it is helpful. Impressive stuff.

    - Thanks, Sven!

-wingzta- There is a nice SSS going on but in this particular image I did some image changes and applied some filter on Photoshop that killed a little bit the SSS effect. But this is a choice, really. I like the way it is.
About background not matching you are right. There is an indirect extra light over Theodore. Thank you for your feedback!

amazing.. if just FFX would be that tiny little more natural looking it would be spot on ! i relly wish once LWNEXT is out that you convert this scene to new shading system and render it out!

Well, the natural looking was not my major problem. I had problems animating the character. FiberFX keeps some old bugs that can upset you a lot and ruin your work.

Take a look at this little test and see how hair acts weird.

But with some help of our forum collegues I think I fixed the problem.
