Newbie question: Does SpeedEDIT import .mov files?

Apparently we're having difficulty using files edited in Adobe Premiere. Would a possible workaround be to export them out as .mov files, then import them into SpeedEDIT and "convert" them?

Since the Newtek HQ codec is installed on your computer, you should be able to render files out of Premiere, in that AVI format.

If Premiere is on another computer, the codec is available from Newtek in a form for Mac and PC.
