Unhappy 3Play One-Button Marking. Clip shortened when moved to playlist

So here is the odd situation we have encountered on our 3Play 425. When a kill is scored or basket made, the 3play op hits OUT. Currently, one button marking is set to put an in-point 4 seconds before and 10 seconds after OUT is punched. So, we end up with a nice 14 second clip. Here is where the weirdness comes in. When that 14 second clip is moved down to the play list, it now becomes a 4 sec clip. The last 10 seconds are gone. Now, of course I can move the out point to get the 10 seconds back. But, why? Is there a way around this so that the 14 second clip remains a 14 second clip?

One button marking ends a clip where you press OUT. The padding option in the clip list area is a playback feature, it doesn't add 10 second to the size of the original clip, just allows you to play 10 seconds beyond the OUT point.

You might be able to make a macro to adjust the out point by 10 seconds if that is something you are looking to commonly do.
