Smoke max 4 minutes per frame.
    Explosion max 7 minutes.

That's on an 8 core PC.

Outstanding images and inclusion in the upcoming Lightwave. Well done. Thank you Lino for the posting, as it is reassuring that their is 'life' going on, and the development is in a very positive direction.

The reactions to the existence of a blog post are more and more muted.

Has everyone who cares simply moved on?

Or maybe not everyone has seen it yet. Why not just appreciate the feature.

I have noticed a significant drop off in the past while. No blog posts = no interest = find something else to perk interest.

IMHO blog posts should be much more frequent to keep that carrot dangling

I am happy to wait if I can see that cool things are in the works but when I see nothing, even if that progress is being made, I assume nothing is happening and look elsewhere.

You guys mind telling what version of OpenVDB you're using?
I'm using OpenVDB for meshing and would like to know if I have to start looking for a solution to use different dll's or not.

Thanks for the update, Matt and Rob. This looks stunning. I'm old enough to remember the buzz around Lightwave hypervoxels and this new tech is such a huge leap forward especially regarding integration with other software. Fascinating to catch a glimpse into the future and I'm very much looking forward to investing when LWNext is released.

I *think* v3.2, but don't quote me on that.
