(Actually, I had no idea what Canadian bacon was before coming to the USA. They call it "back bacon" in Canada, and most other countries I think.)
Here in Quebec, Canada and speaking in french we call it bacon

Which, if you crumbled it and added it to poutine, would provide the perfect heart attack in a bowl.

Mmmmm. Poutine. My favorite local brew pub (which owner is a client of mine) serves a killer poutine you can get with a heart-killing pile of pork butt on top. Delish.

IMO, sublime poutine is: Fries double fried in duck fat, topped with duck gravy (made with what was left after roasting and draining the fat off for fries), and served with crispy duck skin (also from roasting). There's a couple well-known places in Montreal that do it in that manner, one with a fried slab of duck foie gras as well, IIRC. It'll kill you, but you'll die happy.

I think this may be some weird kind of 'bot. Or it's Bokad Castle messing with us, about his speed.

Let's not put ourselves in the position of being accused of maligning the 'departed',

We are the Borg. Doubts are irrelevant.
All that is powerful or long standing is first conceived in the imagination; supported by the hope of possibility and then made manifest in our commitment of our current physical reality.

Yes supposedly a release is imminent but that could mean next week or as late as December. A few of the last releases were released nov-dec so that might be a safe bet.
Im not concerned with Rob Powers ability to deliver. Although I wish he would communicate more, I know he is committed to delivering the best that is possible.

Ohh you know the Poutine!!! Imagine a Poutine with all dress like a pizza plus Bacon! That's my favorite!
But the heart attack one is with Bacon, Sausage, Pepperoni and chopped steak!

This is the related menu entry at the aforementioned brew pub I favor. I expect it's far from authentic Montreal but I enjoy it.

    Poutine 8
French fries with Stoltzfus Dairy cheese curds and smothered with our house made brown gravy and topped with green onions.
    With Smoked Pork Butt 10

Yeah but you're lucky to have Poutine outside Quebec It think that's an interesting combination for a Poutine

With the new renderer we will be able to simulate a monstruous Poutine with a high degree of realism
