    TriCaster SD- Setting Up iVGA

Applies to: TriCaster Duo, 100, Pro, Studio, Broadcast, XD300, XD450, XD850, and XD850 Extreme
Problem Description and Steps to Verify/Reproduce

The goal of this article is to outline the process of connecting a system running iVGA to a Tricaster unit via standard Ethernet cable. In general, if there is trouble with iVGA not connecting through the network or a router, follow the steps outlined below FIRST. This will eliminate the possibility that the problem is in iVGA or the TriCaster system. Once a connection is established and working settings can be reconfigured to use a router. In order to follow all the suggestions and steps below you will need a working knowledge of networks, navigating the network panels in Windows and setting up connections between machines. Some instruction is provided in these areas but full documentation falls outside the scope of a simple troubleshooting article. NOTE: When using a router, make sure port 5901, 5902 TCP and port 5901 UDP are open.
