    Resource rigged characters

    Hi guy's,

I'm offered a nice opportunity to do some payed archvis projects. Could anyone help me out. I am looking for a source to get free or even buy some lightwave full rigged characters. No need for facial rigs but they have to be fairly realistic.

    Thanks in advance
    GP.

    RebelHill,

Never heard about their charactergenerator. Also nice movie that demonstrates the proces of using and fixing their imported skeleton. Just wondering why u dont just throw away all the imported bones and instead use your autorig. That would rig the character a lot faster imho? Could be wrong ofcourse Anyway, happy you replyied, thanx!

Ofc it would... the purpose of that video though is just to show how things can be done with the Rigging Toolbox alone. Unlike RHiggit, which really does almost everything for you... the rigging toolbox requires that you know what you're doing/how to rig manually, its tools just make the process a LOT faster and keeps everything contained to one panel, so it's really just a demonstration of that.

Also... for folks who don't have RHiggit full version, it provides them with an option in the free edition for a faster rigging workflow, again, provided they have at least a basic idea of how they'd rig something manually.

So just to be sure I understand, the optimal AD CharacterGenerator import workflow for folks with Rhiggit Pro licenses would be to throw away the generated skeleton and replace with Rhiggit skeleton? The FBX one or...?

    Thanks!

    Sure... This one...

is also using an ADCG mesh, just with simpler "area" weights added in modeler, and using RHiggit to setup.
