    Import .c4d file?


    I've just been supplied a few .c4d files. Can anyone suggest the best way to get thes into LW?

    Is it possible?

    No, I don't have Cinema4d

    Had something similar but had to ask the supplier to export out as an Alembic seq and got into LW via MD Reader. Download the demo?

    from my experience the best exchange workflow from c4d to lw is to use the (third party) riptide plugin in cinema and export as obj. use riptide bacause the native export module in cinema is not working so well for wavefront obj. never tried the alembic route. there is no way to load .c4d files directly into lw.

    Thanks for the replies guys. And thanks for that link.

    The project is still at quote stage, so just trying to get to grips with what needs to be done.

    I'll check out the demo, but do know that some software licencing don't allow anything created in the demo to be used commercially

    I'm sure I will find a way if need be.
