Just saw it on Facebook, thought it'd be fun to see the response here. Waiting for it!

Downloading the trial, this time I am testing it first no automatic upgrade from me any more.

Seem to finally have Alembic export in Layout, not sure if it works, it crashes when you try to export - might be because its in demo mode.

    FiberFX seems just as buggy.

This is really good timing. I was going to but the cage deformer plugins but was waiting to see if an upgrade was coming that might support this natively.

Looks like not, but good to know.

As for the upgrade jury's out. 11.6 has been really stable for me.

Congrats LW3DG! $995 is a very good pricepoint for what you can achive with LW. It is a fantastic tool to have in the arsenal!!! Go get it, folks!

Since this release is called Lightwave 2015 I would now assume there will definitely be a major release every year from now on.
