Thread: Render Path

    Render Path

Hi can anyone give me advice I am sending files to a server for rendering which they are trying to set up for lightwave.

We would like the service to be controlled via a control panel, the issue is with creating relative paths to the folder directory, it seems that the paths still looking my D drive - D:\LightwaveFolder\Scenes etc.. I would ideally like \LightwaveFolder\Scenes

Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong if you just package a scene, doesn't it do it for you ?

    Thanks in advance

That depends on where are used these paths. If they're used in f.e. external plugins, then LW has no idea about them..

Its just the basics no plugins, scenes, objects etc....

It's not so easy - nodes, shaders, image filters in Image Editor can be also plugins. And they are part of object, not scene.

If you think paths are wrong just in scene file, load scene file in any text editor, and search for them and replace. Save under different name to have backup.
