    FBX and deformed surfaces

I wonder if someone could explain why this little boys body is deformed?

I just exported a character from DAZ 4.6 to Lightwave as an FBX file... this use to work as a clock otherwise but this time something is deforming the little ones body!

I just donīt know why the body reacts this way and find no way fix the distorted parts. Anyone that knows his 3D-characters skins and bones are welcome to advice me because it would be a shame to exclude this little character from Lightwave for ever!

    Regards

The export setting from DAZ is "FBX 2012 Binary"!

As I understood after my purchase from DAZ "The Kids 4" is an older character set up and maybe the "FBX 2012 Binary" didnīt even excist when "The Kids 4" were created!

    So whatīs your advice?

Don't know if it will help, but you might try going the FBX_2009, ascii format route. It usually seems to work the best, but I haven't tried animation.
