    And here it is:

NewTek Unveils the Most Complete, Compact Multimedia Studio in the World: TriCaster Mini

NewTek™ today unveiled TriCaster Mini™––the world’s most complete and compact multimedia studio. The ultra-portable system allows anyone who doesn’t speak or understand the technical language of video production or broadcasting to transform an ordinary presentation into engaging multimedia content that looks like network-style TV in a matter of minutes.
Marketers, corporate employees, small business managers, community administrators, educators, trainers, non-profit and worship service volunteers, and entertainers who are interested in delivering their messages like seasoned television professionals can now use TriCaster Mini to assemble visually sophisticated multimedia presentations. They can stream these presentations live, publish to social media or upload to a website from the office, an event, or any location with an Internet connection. The tiny, sleek design, support for everyday camcorders, and comprehensive toolset make TriCaster Mini easy to carry in one hand, setup, create and share content.

Honest congrats to NewTek whatever it may be. I hope it has something to do with LW but if not, here's a "cheers" to hard work and a bit of inspiration to what's possible when you set your mind to something.

We've been recently informed/told that these forums are NewTek's video channel. This announcement was not in the LightWave 3D forum sections, so it will be interesting to see if there is a LightWave 3D hook in there somewhere. I really hope that there is.

Do you mean that it's all going to be TriCaster stuff soon? I must have missed that post.

There was no post saying that. But Chuck works on the Tricaster side so it's logical to assume this announcement is about stuff from that side of NewTek. I'm still gonna watch though as I find the Tricaster stuff interesting.

Unlikely to be LW'y, as I've just received a brand new newsletter from LW3DG, with no mention of anything new. Even their marketing department can't be that bad...

    ...Can they?

No it would not be LWCentric on the NT Forums, probably to do with Tricaster or such. At least someone will be happy im sure.
