    I got a bit inspired last night to try something along a similar vein using LW and Octane.
    Nothing more than an instanced primitive, basic textures and a bunch of scale, stretch and rotation nodes.

    Yup, great fun. When I get a bit of time to play, I'm going to try combining them with Steve Mcardle's Light Painting, that should really be a fun effect.
