    HD Program Out

    Hi everyone.

We just recently got new HD cameras. I am trying to output from the program fed and it says component. I know this is an elementary question but can someone help me what exact cable I need and possibly a converter type to get it to regular SDI?

    Thanks

Any TriCaster with SDI inputs also has SDI outputs. The Output Config menu option that says Component is just telling you that this is what is being supplied to the analog outputs (Component being the only valid analog option for HD). The HD-SDI output will be active at the same time without requiring any settings to be modified, assuming of course that your session is HD..

It is a Tricaster 455, and yes it is an HD session.

Output #1 will always match your session video format. Output #2 has a down/cross converter and can be used to other video formats. The SDI connectors are always active on these two outputs.
