    I need a plugin...

Quite a few years ago, someone wrote for Vision III (the company I work for) a camera plug in. I think it was made for Lightwave v.5. We need to use it now, but the old plug in no longer works in the newer Lightwave. Is there someone out there that can take our old plugin and make it work in the new configuration. I'm running v. 11.6.3 now. My boss has given the OK to hire someone to write the new plugin.

Seriously, did it not occur to the OP to say what the damn plugin does?

Just guessing here but I think it can be done with the Advanced Camera or Shift Camera.

The plug-in is a toolset that allows the operator to program a series of repeating camera motions and view point orientations that can transition from one setup to another as desired.

Is this like a camera switcher? There's something like that already in Layout.

If you could be more specific as to what you need then that would help.

    1. Is this a complete re-write of your plugin?
    2. Do you have the source code and this is just a matter of updating to current technology?

If you have source then it *should* be not too much hassle to find whats different and make it work again... however... From your description "programming a series of camera moves", is really just animating, so it's probably be a simpler matter to just animate a given camera move, save out, and reload the motion onto cameras in other/future scenes as desired.
