    Tricaster Control Surface Responsiveness Issue

    Hey all,

I have a recently restored my tricaster 455 with the fill 460 upgrade due to an un-related issue and taken care of that. My issue is now that my control surface seems to not respond during and not during a live production. When I press "cam 1" button for ex) on the program row is lights up green but will not switch to "cam 1" in the program out. This can happen throughout a production and has happened in multiple sessions as well. I am going out through AUX out only.

Any ideas as to why the control surface would respond then all of a sudden not respond then respond again?

Also important to note that this happened before and after the tricaster was restored.

    Thanks

    Alan Billings

How is the control surface connected to Tricaster?
Is it directly with a USB cable? If so, how long is the cable?
If through a USB hub, is the hub powered? How long are the cable runs?

The USb cable is the slandered USB cable that was provided by newtek in the box.

In that case, and if a brand new session also behaves badly, you may want to talk to CS. There was a hardware modification that was required for certain CSes, not sure if this will apply.
