    Question Nodal Particle index info

In the two PARTICLE INFO nodes I have (DP KIT and native), there's no "Particle Index" output.

Is this because there's no need for such an output??? Seems to me this is the kinda thing that might be quite convenient.

There IS an "Id" output on the DPKit node.

Anyway, I figured I'd use the PARTICLE INDEX output to pick colors from a Gradient for use with Denis' Particle Paint node. Still working on getting that running.

Don't forget that a particle may born and die,
particle are indexed from the first alive to the last,
so several particles could have the same index,
a particle ID is what you need.

Thanks Denis. FWIW, I'm trying to work up a Particle Paint effect, and attempt to cycling thru the colors via a gradient keyed to the particles. I'll read more.
