    3dworks animation demo reel

this is my showreel with a selection of existing animations and some i produced over the last period. most sequences are rendered with native LW, a few with kray. postproduction was done in after effects... enjoy! ;-)

Outstanding architectural animation, with so much environment and interior details, IMHO perfect textures and lighting, congrats!

thanks :-) yes, first apartment and the scene with the berliner historical fassade + the courtyard was rendered in kray...

my big thanks goes also to paolo zambrini for helping me with the 'fake GI tree's tricks' in the last scenes with the larger city development! grazie mille, ancora! ;-)

Watched it trying to "pick out" something flawed to put in the comment :< as in if someone wanted to complain when you present it to him. But I can't find a single flaw in it. Just awesome work.

I especially liked the idea that the camera was focused on that running dude along the river and the thing with shadows at the end over the time from the top view of the blocks was cool although it DID set me to expect that when it goes all the way to dark, you'd also light the lights inside those buildings. Would be a nice touch, maybe worth considering... unless that idea is too cliche xD

Anyway, the video is where I wish to be at some point in my future so respect for the skills.

hehe thanks for your nice comments!! ...and well, watch closely to the end of that sun timelapse sequence, and you will see that top cliché thing, haha. it is just a second or so, because it is just an 'effective' after effects trick - simply i had no time for setting up true animated lights inside the single buildings.

    cheers
